Elokai Neshama

A shiur on the deeply moving  "Elokai Neshama" prayer from the morning blessings.

Elokai, the soul that you placed in me is pure. You created it, you fashioned it, You breathed it in to me. And You watch over it while it is within me, and eventually You will take it from me, and return it to me in the Time to Come. For as long as this soul is within me, I am grateful to you, Hashem, my Hashem and the Hashem of my fathers, Master of all works, Lord of all souls. Blessed are you Hashem, who restores souls to dead bodies.
