Nikolayev, Ukraine was the hometown of many Chasidic composers. "Fonkeh" (or "Fonyeh") was a typical name of a gentile peasant. His favorite pastime was drinking and singing the types of songs, fast or slow, that would be heard from a drunk. Like many Niggunim this style was used -- with modification -- for Avodas Hashem (serving G-d). This Niggun may be sung slowly or fast. MP3
