First Pasuk in the Parsha Series. What is the significance of the vav in the beginning of the parsha: "V'aile toldos yitzchak..." (These are the offspring of Yitzchak the son of Avraham). Why does Rashi tell us that Esav and Yaakov are the offspring of Yitzchak? This class draws on the Abarbanel, Eitz Ha Daas Tov (by R. Chaim Vital) to address this question. The class then moves on to the queation of why the parsha is called "Toldos" with two sichos from the Lubavitcher Rebbe (one from chelek hei and one from tuf shin nun beis with an aside from chelek zion). 57 minutes and 10 seconds - 26.2 MB
